Mead Lodge is situated in the picturesque village of Buxton, just 8 miles north of Norwich and close to the pleasant market town of Aylsham.

Originally a Victorian Gentleman’s residence built of mellow red brick; it is set in one and a half acres of secluded gardens and orchard. Mead Lodge was established as a Care Home in 1986 and is currently registered as a Residential Care Home specialising in the care of the elderly suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer’s. We provide safe, comfortable, homely accommodation for our residents who benefit from skilled care being on hand twenty-four hours a day.

All meals are prepared on the premises using fresh local seasonal produce, to provide an excellent full and varied menu ensuring a balanced and nutritious diet. Any special dietary needs are catered for. Family and friends are encouraged to join residents for meals if they wish.

All staff at Mead \lodge are highly qualified and experience and receive regular training in all aspects of care, as well as specialist training in the care of the elderly suffering from Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We believe that the quality of care provided and the professionalism of the staff at ML are of the utmost importance, and we are happy to invest in our people so that our standards are never compromised.
